My How Time Flies!

Our time here in Ireland is going by so very fast this trip.  Gary and Debbie Miller and Rick and Trudy Bonnette arrived after a long journey...it was great seeing our friends and so fun to share the work here with them. On the 26th of April we headed East to Dublin along with the Millers and Bonnette's'.  The pastors conference that was held in Navan was a success.

There are many good reports and future doors for are opening for Fresh Start ministry all the time.  Rob and Rick did great in facilitating the conference. Thank you so much to the Millers and Bonnettes for their time and effort and friendship. It was sad to see them leave on the 30th of April to go back to Alaska. Since then, Rob and I have spent the week in the Dublin area doing meetings and one on one meetings with people. Building relationships with people is vital here in Ireland and that is what we spend most of our time doing.

Pastor Scott Frerking arrives on the 5th of May and then it will be a whirl wind of driving and meetings back in to the West and North to Belfast where we will do a conference in Pastor Jack McKee's church and work with the leaders there in regards to Fresh Start. It will be a busy few weeks. There is never a dull moment when Scott and Rob are together!

It's hard to believe but our time is winding down for this time.  We return back to the states on the 24th of May, making a quick run up to the state of Maine to show Rob where his 'Maine-iac'  bride was born! :) I also want to show him the old farm's of my grandparents.
Each time we come to Ireland the Lord seems to open more and more doors, next year, Lord willing,  there will be a Fresh Start Center in Dublin area where we can work out of and from.  So many possibilities.  So we will prayerfully make plans and let the Lord direct our steps.

Thank you to all who take the time to read these short notes. Thank you to all who take the time to pray for us and Ireland, and thank you to all who give to help us in our endeavor to help spread the gospel of Jesus who came to give life and life more abundantly.  And to set the captives free.

God bless you, we love you all!

Perseverance and Progress!

The first few weeks we spend in Ireland with Rob being sick with his sinus infection that he got in Sri Lanka 2004 and it has tormented him since on and off.  It seems to happen alot when we go on missions trips.

Fresh Start had fizzled out some when we came to start the small groups. So we had to re-establish FS and then start small groups all of which have happened. We have been having weekly home groups in Kilkelly and doing daily bible studies with a couple that will be directing Fresh Start after we are gone.

Our Fresh Start team will be here on Saturday to give a boost and to reinforce what we have restarted. We are so excited to have our friends here with us.

On the 26th we head to Dublin to do a Conference with pastors from around the country to introduce Fresh Start to the different churches that might be interested in wanting Freedom Ministry in their own church bodies.  We will have a couple from Westport come with us to share what the Lord has done in and through their lives through Fresh Start. They have amazing stories.  We will also be teaching and demonstrating how Fresh Start is done from a practical perspective. From the Dublin conference we will send off those who came and Pastor Scott will arrive to go with us to Belfast and do a conference at City Life Church.

We have been talking with John McEvoy concerning opportunities for a Fresh Start base and working out of there with all the other churches that want to be trained to implement Fresh Start and also working in one of the communities in Southern Ireland called Tallighacht.  The need is very great in this community.

As we are here we are discovering many more opportunities for the future which will require longer times away from home. Please pray for direction and the right doors to open for us.  God bless you!  We love you all and would love for you to leave us some comments and notes!

Top o' the Morning to you!
